The BM150 breadmaker by Kenwood is compact and efficient. Despite not featuring a timer, the Kenwood BM150 is great for novice home bakers. This simple bread machine was later replaced by the BM250 breadmaker from Kenwood.
The BM150 has since been replaced by a newer Kenwood model (the BM450), as a result there aren't many shops that still stock this older machine. The below table summarises the best UK prices which include VAT and delivery.

Measuring up at just 28cm x 24cm x 30cm, the Kenwood BM150 breadmaker is a simple and compact bread machine. It's so simple in fact, even your grand mother could use it without too much trouble. Add the ingredients, select the program, enjoy your bread!
The BM150 breadmaker has 3 preset programs for White, French and Whole Wheat bread, so it still provides some flexibility of use.
In addition, the BM150 features power interruption protection in case the unit is accidentally unplugged during operation. The BM150 will continue the program if plugged back in within 8 minutes.
So, despite not offering the functionality of a timer, this compact little bread machine is still useful for those novice home bakers. You can't really go wrong with the programming and being manufactured by Kenwood means this breadmaker should last you for a while.
Like the breadmaker, the price is also very compact at just £41.00 the BM150 is one of the cheapest breadmakers on the market. In addition, a measuring cup, a spoon, and a selection of recipes are included with every BM150 breadmaker purchase.

I like this little breadmaker. It was an impulse buy, but a good one. I've been using it about four days every week. The bread is nice, especially the french version and brown (if you add a few seeds). It's a small loaf, but plenty for two people.
The only problem is that there is no timer on it. The brown takes three hours and I'm not getting up in the middle of the night to make it (obviously). So I bake the evening before, which means that if I start it off at 18:30 it'll finish at 21:30. In short timing is an issue.
Conclusion: Great little bread maker for beginners or people that like fresh bread in the weekend. It's easy to use. If you want to make bread every day go for a breadmaker with timers and more options. In short it's a simple breadmaker and so are the results. Yummie but simple.
