The Russell Hobbs 17887 Fast Bake Breadmaker is so called thanks to its ability to make a full sized loaf in just 55 minutes. But with an extra paddle to make a vertical shape and three sizes from 2 to 3lb available, this bread machine has more under the hood than you first imagine.
The popular Russell Hobbs 17887 breadmaker is currently only available from Amazon. As and when more stock arrives, the below table will be updated.

Every effort is made to ensure the above price comparison table is kept up to date. However, we do apologise if you experience an inconsistancy in the data.
This large breadmaker from Russell Hobbs is a perfect machine for the bigger family or those that eat a lot of bread. With a minimum loaf size of 2lb there have to be a few hungry mouths around to ensure nothing goes to waste, but with the light fluffy results this breadmaker provides, we're sure that won't be a problem.
But it is not just the size of the loaf that sets this breadmaker apart from the rest, it is also the shape. Though the traditional mixing blade is included for a standard figure, Russell Hobbs have also included a second blade for a vertical loaf which not only provides a beautiful form but is also designed to be better tasting.
Take care when you are removing the bread pan from this machine. Though you may be in a hurry to taste your wares, it is best to use oven gloves at all times as the small pan handles do carry the risks of your hands touching the side of the machine which will still be very hot.
However with French, Wholewheat, Pizza dough and jam options included within the 11 preset programmes, this machine can do far more than churn out the basic loaf in a super quick time. The keep warm option lasts for up to 1 hour, so that even if you are not there to enjoy your delicious creation straight away, it will still be lovely and warm when you are.
The wise men at Russell Hobbs have also included a 15 minute power memory function on this breadmaker so that even if your power is disrupted for any time up to 15 minutes, as soon as normal service is resumed your breadmaker can carry on as if nothing has happened. This means, even if you have a glitch in the power while you are asleep, you can still wake up to freshly baked, beautifully tasting bread in the morning.
With such a large machine, the 1100 watts required to run the product does make it slightly more expensive to cook each loaf. However as the loaves can be so much bigger, the cost per slice compared with its counterparts is not so significant.
Surprisingly for the people who seem to have thought of everything, Russell Hobbs have forgotten to include measuring utensils within the 17887 breadmaker, so you will have to buy some accurate cups to make your bread perfect. But this is a small price to pay to achieve fantastic results.
And though there is no automatic ingredients dispenser, the timed beeper is on hand so that you can add those delicious extras that are going to make your creations so unique.
To conclude, if you are a large family and want the flexibility to create good sized loaves super fast when time is short, but then luxuriate over highly specialised products when you are free, the Russell Hobbs 17887 Fast Bake is a great option.
