As with the BM3 model, the BM2N breadmaker is mainly sold on the continent, therefore UK stores that hold stock are hard to come by. Currently Amazon are the only UK online store where you can get hold of one and they only have a few so you usually have to pre-order.

BM2N Breadmaker Review

With the BM2N there's very little effort on the part of the baker, this breadmaker is a sophisticated appliance with a computer memory that does all the work for you. It's as simple as one-two-three. Put in the ingredients, select a program from the menus, and wait for your bread.

Flexibility

As with the majority of modern breadmakers, The BM2N can do more than just bake bread. You can also prepare dough's for bread rolls, pizzas, cakes and jams.

Some of the features of the BM2N include a size setting to make a small or large loaf. An alarm to let the baker know the exact time to add extra ingredients like fruit and nuts. A crusty setting to create that extra crusty loaf, and finally a programmable timer if you want the bread to be ready later, perhaps for delicious fresh bread in the morning.

Programs

The program settings are as follows:

1. Basic white: For white and brown bread or for flavoured breads with added herbs and raisins.

2. French: For the baking of light weight bread such as French bread which has a crisper crust and light texture.

3. Whole-wheat: For the baking of bread containing significant amounts of whole wheat.

4. Quick: For white bread that is required in a shorter time.

5. Sweet: For the baking of sweet type bread which gives a crisper crust than on basic setting.

6. Ultra fast 1: For baking a small loaf in a short time.

7. Ultra fast 2: For baking a large loaf in a short time.

8. Dough: This setting only makes the dough and will not bake the final bread.

9. Jam: Use this setting for making jam from fresh fruits and marmalade from Seville oranges.

10. Cake: This setting will mix ingredients and then bake for a preset time.

11. Sandwich: This is to bake light textured bread but with a softer and thicker crust.

12. Extra bake: This setting is bake only and can be used to increase the baking time on selected settings.
